Spontaneous Generosity
On Monday night, I went out and met some friends and friends of friends at a bar to watch the LSU v. Alabama game. I met some new people through my roommate, which was a nice change from the blank stares that I get on the streets and subways.  Talking to people felt like such a novelty! Day 1: Tentatively Excited
Funny how every time I pack, songs start coming into my head. Specifically, Leaving on a Jet Plane, by whomever you prefer to sing it. There are so many versions by so many different artists; I can hardly keep it straight myself. There’s one by Jem that I really like (and unfortunately cannot find anywhere on Youtube to use as reference), so that’s the one that comes to my head....
